2. Strategic planning - Mission, vision, values and strategies of arts organizations

This training material is developed to introduce the strategic planning process of art organizations, its ellements and the necessity for its performantce. The training material presents the Hungary`s art organizations` case in the late communist and post-communist era and their consolidation in the market economy which can provide a deeper understanding on the logic of the institutional hierarchy from a more general prospective, the special interests and considerations of the different actors of the art scene and the structure of the underdeveloped market. Through the generalization of the local model, one can understand the mechanism of other art scenes which are in the state of transition.
